A process for biogas production

A method for generating biogas from biomass in a biogas reactor, wherein - at least one reference value for the concentration of at least one trace element is provided in a biogas reactor for efficient biogas production, - is generated in the biogas reactor biogas from biomass, - the concentration of at least one trace element in the biomass is determined in the biogas reactor, and - in case of a falling below the standard value by the determined trace element concentration missing trace elements are added to the biogas reactor.
