The expert esthetic evaluation of the face

: The authors suggest a scale for assessment of face esthetics, based on the notion of "esthetic perception" and anthropometric data. The scale consists of 6 grades, from disproportional (1 score) to proportional harmonic (6 scores). The method of expert evaluation of face esthetics facilitates planning of comprehensive treatment of patients with maxillodentofacial abnormalities and deformations and helps more objectively assess the results of treatment and the efficacy of this or that treatment modality.
