Wavelength-division multiplexing and demultiplexing using monolithic wavelength-chirped VCSEL anti resonance-enhanced photodetector arrays

1998
Monolithic arrays of graded multiple wavelength sources and wavelength-selective photodetectors are useful for various wavelength-division-multiplexed (WDM) applications. Wavelength multiplexed channels from a multiwavelength VCSEL array can either be separated by a passive demultiplexer or fanned out to different receivers to be detected by wavelength-selective photodetectors.
