MULTIDIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS WORKLIFE BALANCE AND COMMITMENT ORGANIZATIONAL

ABSTRACT This study aims to test the work-life balance against organizational commitment with a multidimensional approach. The work-life balance consists of three dimensions, namely: balance of time, the balance of involvement, and balance of satisfaction. This research is a quantitative research. Respondents in this study were employees who worked at Hotel Marcopolo Bandar Lampung which amounted to 60 respondents. The balance of working life is measured by adopting a measurement tool developed by McDonal and Bredley (2005) that advocates for three dimensions of work-life balance. Organizational commitment is measured by adopting a measurement tool developed by Allen and Meyer (1990). Analyzer to perform hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis and T-test. The result of this research are: time balance influences organizational commitment, the balance of involvement influences organizational commitment, and balance of satisfaction influences organizational commitment.
