Опыт эксплуатации скважин с горизонтальным окончанием на месторождениях Татарстана

The author discusses the history of horizontal drilling and more than thirty years' experience of horizontal laterals and horizontally extended reached wells' operation in the Republic of Tatarstan. The application potential of horizontal technologies by Tatneft OAO is associated with further improvement of the knowledge base and development of the relevant procedure. Based on the pilot results, three categories of probability of success and efficiency of the Company's development targets have been recognized.
