Increasing of Decoder Speed in Data Transfer Systems Due to the Use of Parallel Calculations

This article describes multithreaded and single-threaded implementations of the information decoding algorithm. The Hamming block code implementation is taken as a test case. OpenMP and CUDA technologies have shown high efficiency while parallelizing the decoding process. The article compares their effectiveness and estimates the gain from the use of parallel computing.
