Effects of Advanced Practice and Evidence Based Practice on Nursing

2020
Advanced practice nursing (APRN) skills are evolving internationally, and resources for specialized practice nursing are growing internationally due to the demand for advanced clinical professional specialist nursing care. The effect of “Evidence-based practice” (EBP) has resonated through approaches of nursing, research and education. The call for evidence-based quality change and modernization of health care highlights the need for reliable, healthy, and productive reform of treatment. In line with national experts' numerous guidance-setting guidelines, nurses have reacted to initiate programs that leverage the important efforts that nurses have created, should, and would bring to deliver completely on EBP's commitment. These programs involve the introduction of practices; curricular and education realignment; development of concept and theory; academic participation with emerging science fields; and establishment of a strategic evaluation network to evaluate change. This paper discusses briefly the EBP phenomenon and looks at some of EBP's effect on nursing practice, research and awareness and models and systems,. The paper ends with exploration of EBP's next major plans, focused on two federal measures, and discusses possibilities and obstacles as EBP proceeds to promote other innovative modern healthcare concepts.
