Implementing preventive health care recommendations in family medicine

The Canadian Task Force on the Periodic Health Examination, the precursor to today’s Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care, was established in 1976 by the Conference of Deputy Ministers of Health of the 10 Canadian provinces. When it was formed, the task force was charged with determining
