Studi Eksperimental Performa Yamaha Vixion 150 Menggunakan Modifikasi Exhaust Manifold dengan Variasi Perbandingan Diameter Inlet Nozzle terhadap Diameter Outlet Nozzle 0,80, 0,71, dan 0,63
2019
Magic Ring is a simple ring shaped component specifically designed for various types of motorbikes. This component utilizes the active gas through the exhaust which is wasted and the simple Magic Ring system will utilize steam fuel oil optimally when the engine is overlapping. Then, quickly make the active gas that should be wasted out will return to the combustion chamber again. So that the mixture in the combustion chamber becomes flat or homogeneous ... This study aims to determine the performance of 4 stroke gasoline fuel motor in the form of Power and Torque.
Test methods are tested in standard conditions or without the addition of Magic Ring and testing by adding modifications to the exhaust manifold with variations in the ratio of inlet nozzle diameter to outlet nozzle diameter 0.80, 0.71 and 0.63. While the dependent variable observed was the performance of a 4-step gasoline fuel motor in the form of power (HP) and Torque (Nm). Control variables include engine rotation, and using the Yamaha Vixion 150 year of manufacture in 2009.
The results showed that the use of Magic Ring on the market was able to produce torque of 14.36 Nm at 6,105 rpm. While the highest power is produced by the modification of the exhaust manifold with variations in the ratio of the inlet nozzle diameter to the outlet nozzle diameter 0.71 which is capable of producing torque of 14.43 Nm at 6,117 rpm. . Then in the modification of the exhaust manifold with a variation in the ratio of the nozzle inlet diameter to the outlet nozzle diameter of 0.71 getting about 14.0 HP of power at 4,500 rpm at the engine speed At a maximum of 8.5958 Nm at 8,579 rpm engine speed. While the highest power produced by the Magic Ring is circulating in the market that is equal to 14.7 HP at 8,231 rpm engine speed. Then for the modification of the exhaust manifold with variations in the ratio of the inlet nozzle diameter to the outlet nozzle diameter 0.80, and 0.63 has a difference of 0.1 HP or about 0.72% with modification of the exhaust manifold with variations in the ratio of inlet nozzle diameter to outlet nozzle diameter 0.71.
