Novel integral multistage hub rotor unit deep cavity machining tool and method

2013
The invention belongs to aeroengine manufacturing technology, and particularly relates to deep cavity machining technology for a multistage hub rotor unit on an aeroengine or other parts. A machined deep cavity structure comprises inner-cavity comb teeth, an inner-cavity secondary radial plate and an inner-cavity conical surface. The multistage hub rotor unit is machined by taking a journal, two hub barrels and three single-stage blisks as an integral structural unit. Compared with a conventional structure, the structure has the advantages that three conventional connections (in a welding manner) among journals, blisks and hub barrels are omitted; compared with a spigot connecting manner, the manner has the advantages that not only are a large quantity of parts omitted, but also weight brought by spigots is reduced; compared with the welding manner, the manner has the advantages that a process of electron beam welding is omitted, and risk brought by welding is reduced as well. Through a homemade tool, the deep cavity machining technology of the multistage hub rotor unit is realized. The technology can be also applied to deep cavity machining of other similar parts.
