Identifying the Sampling Window for Filters Designed in the z -plane

The sampling frequency fs selected for a digital filter should not be either too low or too high, and the region between these extremes, within which fs could be expected to lie, is termed ‘the sampling window’. This paper demonstrates how to identify the sampling window for filters designed directly in the discrete domain.
