Graphene-reinforced nickel-based composite coating material and laser cladding technology thereof

2012
The invention relates to a graphene-reinforced nickel-based composite coating material and a laser cladding technology thereof, belonging to the technical field of surface modification of materials. The graphene-reinforced nickel-based composite coating material is characterized in that a nickel-based self-fusing alloy is taken as a matrix material of a cladding layer, graphene in the percentage by volume of 0.5-20% is taken as a reinforcing phase, and then a composite coating with excellent wear resistance and anti-friction performance can be prepared on a steel and alloy matrix by utilizing the laser cladding technology. The graphene-reinforced nickel-based composite coating material disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the variation range of the content of the graphene is wide, and the coating has uniform and dense structure, excellent wear resistance and anti-friction performance and good metallurgical bonding with the matrix, and can meet the requirements of carbon steel and alloy steel members for friction and wear performance under different working conditions; and furthermore, the scale and the degree of automation of the preparation process of the coating are high, and the graphene-reinforced nickel-based composite coating material can be widely applied to aerospace, machinery, automobiles, military industry and other fields.
