Photoproduction of 0 M esons oProtons from the (1232) Region to E = 3 GeV

Photoproduction of � 0 m esonswasstudied with theCrystal-BarreldetectoratELSA forincident energiesfrom 300M eV to 3G eV.Dierentialcrosssectionsd�/d,d�/dt,and thetotalcrosssection are presented.For E < 3G eV, the angular distributions agree well with the SAID param etrization. At photon energiesabove1.5G eV,a strong forward peaking indicates t-channelexchangeto bethedom inant process.Therapid variationsofthecrosssection with energy and angleindicateproduction ofresonances. An interpretation ofthe data within theBonn-G atchina partialwave analysisisbriey discussed.
