Construction of plant expression vector harboring AtCKX 1 driven by drought-inducible promoter of RD29B from Arabidopsis.

In this study,the cloning of AtCKX1 and 5′-flanking promoter sequence of drought-inducible RD29B from Arabidopsis was reported.The 1705 bp promoter sequence was analyzed bioinformatically in the database of plant cis-acting regulatory element (PlantCARE).The result showed that there were several important cis-acting elements,including ABRE (ABA response element),Myb binding site,TATA-box,CAAT-box,in the 1705-bp promoter region.The binary vector harboring AtCKX1 driven by RD29B promoter was further constructed to be used in coming plant transgene.
