Visplay, the C.S.I.R.O. Graphical Fortran System

Nowadays, there can be few enlightened members of the scientific computing fraternity who are not convinced that interactive computing has many benefits to offer. In particular, program development is greatly speeded up. However, the main emphasis in this paper is in solving problems (of a difficult scientific nature) with the aid of graphical display facilities.
