Dialysis membrane for hemodialysis

PURPOSE: To avoid the adsorption of heparin on a dialysis membrane for hemodialysis and to eliminate the harmful influences of steam sterilization and treatment for reuse by providing a structure in which a polysaccharide ether having a specified structure is repeated to the dialysis membrane. CONSTITUTION: A structure in which a polysaccharide either of the formula is repeated is provided to a dialysis membrane for hemodialysis. In the formula, Cell is the skeleton of the unmodified cellulose molecule or of the chitin molecule, without hydroxy groups in each case, (s) is 3 in the unmodified cellulose molecule and 2 in the chitin molecule, (x) corresponds to the degree of etherification, which is in the range from 0.08 to (s-0.4) and R is a group such as optionally substituted 5-40C alkyl or alkenyl.
