An energy storage device detection side health status, comprising the steps of: a ratio of the current capacity and the nominal capacity as a reference, at a constant temperature and a constant current conditions, the detection is obtained charge and discharge the energy storage device parameters on health status; under constant current conditions, by charging the plurality of different temperatures, temperature detection to obtain the mean charge on the energy storage device parameters affecting health status; at a constant temperature, through a plurality of different charge-discharge current fluctuation, detecting the respective charge and discharge currents obtained terminal half ripple current value and the current average parameters on the state of health of the energy storage device; fits the charge and discharge times, the mean temperature of the charge, the charge and discharge current fluctuation inclusive and mean half, and the corresponding influencing parameters, charge and discharge to give times, the mean temperature of the charge, the charge and discharge current fluctuation inclusive and mean half influence function health status of the energy storage device. Considering the above-described method impact of temperature and current can be obtained more accurate state of health.
