Lattice dynamics in fluctuation valence compound SmB6

The lowest optic and acoustic branches have been determined by inelastic neutron scattering of single crystal SmB6. The softening of vibrational spectrum and appearance of broad and weak additional signal in the energy interval between acoustic and optic phonon branches have been established.
