SURGEON'S WORKSHOP: The Le Fort I osteotomy as an approach to the nasopharynx

Facial deformity is commonly treated by Le Fort I osteotomy. In this case it is used to treat (successfully so far) an extensive tumour of the nasopharynx. The technique was used for its ease of procedure and good exposure of the nasopharynx.
