Adhesion-preventing agent and method for preventing adhesion using the same

PURPOSE: An adhesion prevention material and an adhesion prevention method using hyaluronic acid, carboxymethyl cellulose, and alginate are provided to ensure excellent biocompatibility, persistence, and attachment to a tissue, and to effectively prevent adhesion. CONSTITUTION: An adhesion prevention material contains 0.1-10 wt% of hyaluronic acid, 0.1-8 wt% of carboxymethyl cellulose, and 0.01-5 wt% of alginate based on total weight. The molecular weight of hyaluronic acid is 500-10,000 kDa.
