Use of guanidine derivatives as accelerators in the curing of epoxy resin systems

It is the use of guanidine derivatives of general formula (I) as an accelerator in the curing of Epoxidharzmassensystemen, in which R R X = O, S, NR Y = C or P Z = -NR n = 1, 2 A mean. The particular advantage in applying the inventively used guanidine derivatives as accelerators in epoxy resin formulations is the long shelf life (latency). Due to this excellent application properties as well as their cost-effective production and favorable cost-benefit ratio associated with these guanidine derivatives are particularly well suited for industrial use.
