Studies on adsorption of Cu~(2+) by the fungus Aspergillus sp.

2003
The bioadsorbent was prepared with Aspergillus sp. for adsorption of heavy metal ion Cu2+. The influence factor of its adsorption ability was analyzed experimentally. The adsorption efficiency could reach 92.22% at the following optimum conditions:temperature 30℃, pH 5.0, initial concentration of Cu2+ 50mg/L, rate of the shaker 150r/min, adsorption amount 5g/L pretreated with 1mol/L NaOH and adsorption time 45min. Through electron micro logical observation and X-rays photoelectron spectra technique, it was inferred that cell wall of the fungus was the main part of copper ions adsorption.
