Aspectos reprodutivos em fêmeas de tatu-peba (Euphractus sexcinctus) mantidas em cativeiro

The Euphractus sexcinctus (six-banded armadillo) is a mammal of solitary habits, however, females during the reproductive season, exhibit sexual receptivity and some typical features of the estrous period. The present study observed several aspects, such as the presence of vaginal bleeding, vaginal discharge, vulva, clitoris and swollen nipples.
