Cristales fotónicos empleados en tratamientos médicos

Photonics has been studied for more than two decades in order to work in construction, development and manipulation of light especially of crystal structures at the nanoscale to be employed in telecommunications, computers, solar cells to biosensors, and other applications they have been useful today as it is in biomedical. Therefore, in this article, a retrospective study of photonic crystals, in order to leave as precedent a state of art expressing the theoretical foundations, applications of photonic crystals in medical treatments is presented. It also provides a description of the manner and comparative study of photonic crystals as electromagnetic physics from the perspective through the laws of Maxwell with a macroscopic view of the behavior of photonic crystals and from the point of view of optoelectronics. Finally, qualitative conclusions implementation of photonic crystals is in medical treatment.
