겹침이음을 갖는 교각 내진성능 향상을 위한 FRP 래핑 보강효과

In this study, FRP wrapping effect for the seismic performance enhancement of RC bridge pier having lap-spliced region is experimentally evaluated. Reinforcement by FRP wrapping is conducted by hand or wrapping machine. In construction procedure, the RC pier is wrapped by the glass fiber impregnated by epoxy resin. To confirm the seismic performance enhancement of FRP wrapped pier, the quasi-static test is conducted. As a result of test, the displacement ductility and energy dissipation capacity of the FRP wrapped RC pier specimen are increased so the enhancement effect of FRP wrapping is confirmed. In addition, because of the relationship between the amount of FRP reinforcement and seismic capacity is not directly proportional, the optimum amount of FRP reinforcement design may be needed for enhancement of pier with lap-spliced region.
