Miscellaneous/Marginal/Evolving Indications (Other Abdominopelvic Tumors, Portal Hypertension-Related Varicose Veins, Osteoarticular Pathologies)

Corticosurrenalomas are rare. In approximately half of the cases, their diagnosis is based on their hormonal and metabolic consequences; other diagnostic circumstances are a mass syndrome or remote metastatic localizations in patients of 30–50 years old. Adrenal metastases are on the other hand frequent mostly due to lung and breast cancers as well as melanoma. They are often bilateral, with an adrenal insufficiency in 20–30 % of the cases.
