Sling clamp for inclined slings of middle sling surface suspension bridge

2011
A sling clamp for inclined slings of a middle sling surface suspension bridge aims to effectively solve the difficult problems in connection between the inclined slings and the main cable of the middle sling surface suspension bridge, has a simple structure and high strength, and facilitates the reduction of construction cost. The sling clamp comprises an upper semiring element (10) and a lower semiring element (20), wherein the upper semiring element (10) and a lower semiring element (20) are aligned and combined with each other and fixed to the main cable through high-strength bolts (11); the lower semiring element (20) is provided with ear plates extending outward in the radial direction; the ear plates include a left ear plate (21a) and a right ear plate (21b); the left ear plate (21a) and the right ear plate (21b) are arranged in a forking manner and are symmetric to a longitudinal central line; and the inclination angles of the left and the right ear plates (21a and 21b) are consistent with that of the inclined slings; and through holes (22) allowing mounting pin shafts to pass through are formed at the lower parts of the left and the right ear plates (21a and 21b).
