The causes and therapeutic of burn complicated by mental disorder

Objective To study the causes and therapeutic measures of burn complicated by mental disorder.Methods Recollected and analysed the related clinical data of the twenty-five patients with burn complicated by mental disorder since January 1998 to January 2008.Results All the patients had been well cured after comprehensive treatment.There is a significant higher proportion of mental disorder among aged patients,patients with extensive burn or delayed recovery.Conclusion Early prevention and rescue can significantly reduce the rate of burn complicated by mental disorder and synthetic therapeutic measures can increase the cure rate of patients.
