Evaluation of aquaplast splinting thermoplastic—use in a burns unit

1983
Abstract Aquaplast splinting thermoplastic has been shown to be cost effective and preferred by patients requiring neck splints following burns. Four patients were provided with an Aquaplast neck splint and an alternative thermoplastic splint. Advantages and disadvantages of the use of Aquaplast are discussed, along with use of the material for anterior foot drop splints.
