PURPOSE: A virtual golf simulation apparatus, a sensing device therefor, and a sensing method thereof are provided to simulate the locus of a ball on a virtual golf course according to a sensing result. CONSTITUTION: A virtual golf simulation apparatus comprises a sensor unit, an image collecting unit(61), and an image processing unit(64). The sensor unit acquires an image of plural frames about striking a ball through the swing of a user. The image collecting unit successively receives an image of plural frames from the sensor unit and collects the image. The image processing unit extracts the physical property information of a ball by receiving the image of the frames from the image collecting unit and processing the image.
