Compact antenna with intermediate plate of ceramic material for the reception of digital terrestrial television

2009
Compact antenna with intermediate plate of ceramic material for receiving Digital Terrestrial Television (1), which allows reception of DTT signals from frequencies of 470 MHz to 862 MHz, and thanks to its shape and its flat profile reduces antenna (1) to a remarkably compact size, by incorporating a plate or block of ceramic material (6) with higher electric permittivity than air, in the space between a substrate (2) and a ground plane ( 7) being able to install the compact antenna (1) on the facade of a building, producing a low visual impact when compared with the visual impact of traditional antennas, composed of tubes and grills, and by choosing a housing or radome protector (5) proper it is possible to achieve total mimicry of the antenna (1) with the facade of the building in which it is installed.
