Response to Kumar and Itha

TO THE EDITOR: We would like to thank Dr. A. Kumar and Dr. S. Itha for their interest in our work. The aim of our study (1) was to evaluate the long-term efficacy of pneumatic dilation; thus, we included patients with follow-up periods of >5 yr. We determined the current status of these patients (n = 153) either by telephonic contact or by clinical appointment.
