Background Evocalcet has been developed as a new calcimimetic agent for hemodialysis (HD) patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism (HDSHPT), eliciting fewer gastrointestinal symptoms and drug interactions. We evaluated the efficacy, safety, and optimal starting dose of evocalcet in HDSHPT.
