Delayed pseudocyst formation following free latissimus dorsi transfer
2009
Pseudocysts are an accumulation of fluid within a fibrinous capsule usually occurring post-surgery. They usually occur within a year of surgery. This case report we believe is the first reported occurrence of a delayed pseudocyst presenting 17 years after a latissimus dorsi free flap reconstruction.
