The Basel Problem as a Rearrangement of Series

John Molokach (molokachj12@students.ecu.edu) is a graduate student at East Carolina University who holds a B.A. from North Carolina State University. He teaches single variable calculus and other courses at SmithfieldSelma High School and online at the North Carolina Virtual Public School. He enjoys creating new proofs of the Pythagorean Theorem and proofs-without-words, many of which can be seen at http://www.cut-the-knot.org/ pythagoras. His research is on the convergence of the Riemann Zeta function. He is a continuing National Board Certified Teacher.
