A Crude Spill

An oil spill occurred at Port Stanvac oil refinery today during the unloading of the Liberian carrier, Chanda. Mobil Australia has estimated the spill to be 10 000 litres. Dispersants are being used but the spill is drifting south down the Gulf of St Vincent, and is expected to hit the southern beaches sometime during the night.
