Assessment of anthropometric measurements in 988 healthy adults of Han nationality

2000
Body mass index (BMI), five skinfold-thickness measurements, three circumferences were measured and percentage of body fat (F%) was also measured by bioelectrical impedance in 988 healthy adults aged from 18 to 69 years, for 10-year age intervals. The results indicated that the changes in several anthropometric parameters depended on age and sex and reallocation of body fat on upper trunk was manifested clearly in male subjects over 30 years old and female subjects over 40 years old.
