Method for decontaminating a nucleic acid solution undesirable

2008
Method for decontaminating a solution of any nucleic acid present in this solution, which comprises the following steps: - subjecting the solution to the action of at least one molecule fragmentation, formed by a complex, for a time sufficient consisting of two molecules 1,10-phenanthroline associated with a metal atom that forms the complex bis (1,10-enantrolina) / metal, in the presence of organic reducing until complete degradation of said nucleic acids, and - stop the activity of the molecule fragmentation by adding: * an excess of organic reducing, or * a complexing agent such as EDTA.
