An Infinite 3D Poly(Pseudo-Rotaxane) Architecture in {(H3O+)[K(μ-H2O)(Piperazine)]Cl2}∞

A polythreading polymer, {(H3O+)[K(μ-H2O)(piperazine)] Cl2}∞, was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The result displays an uncommon 3D poly(pseudo-rotaxane) architecture constructed by 2D (4,4) coordinative sheets and 1D hydrogen bond chains. The thermal stability has also been investigated.
