The Effects of Various Release Parameters on Hit Rate of Swish Shot

The effects of various release parameters on swish shot of basketball athlete in set shot were analyzed theoretically. The effects on hit rate under the combination of various release height (1.8~2.4 m), release distance (0.25~6.25 m, distance from basket), release velocity (5~15 m/s) and release angle (39~90°) were studied. Through numerical calculation of various parameters, the range of release angle in different release height and release distance was given. The results could be referenced by basketball athletes.
