Comparison of measurements and calculations of control rod efficiencies at the critical facility to the high-temperature reactor (KATHER)

In the course of the critical experiment to the high-temperature reactor (KATHER) in the Institut fuer Reaktorentwicklung of Kernforschungsanlage Juelich the efficiency of control rods has been investigated by detailed measurements and calculations. Various methods of measurements were used. The results were compared with theoretical calculations. Special interest was applied to the problem of comparing experimental and theoretical reactivity worths. (orig.)
