PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility of a driver who jumps to a conclusion that a door mirror has broken down, when the angle of a mirror surface becomes temporarily unchangeable and after it is solved, in the technique that when changing the angle of the mirror surface of the door mirror based on that the shift position of the vehicle has become reverse, when determined that movement of the door mirror is restricted, the angle of the mirror surface is recorded as a target end point mirror surface angle, and next, the shift position becomes the reverse, the mirror surface angle is made to accord with the recorded target end point mirror surface angle.SOLUTION: When the shift position becomes reverse, the detected angle is determined whether it is away more than a prescribed reference for the return position (step 162). The target end point mirror surface angle based on the detected angle is made to be memorized when determining that it is away (step 165), and the detected angle is not allowed to be memorized as a target end point mirror surface angle when determining it is not away.
