대학 신입생의 전공선택이유에 따른 진로태도성숙 요인의 수준 차이

The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference on major selection reason according to the university freshmen. The total number of subjects was 434, Collected data were analyzed statistically through frequency analysis, reliability analysis, One-way ANOVA, and scheffe post hoc test. Results of this study were followed. First, university freshmen’s major selection reason were in the order of aptitude and interest, employability, scores on entrance examination and invitations of people nearby. Second, perceived significant average difference on the levels of career maturity, decisiveness, purposiveness, independence of aptitude and interest were higher than those of scores on entrance examination and levels of career maturity, purposiveness of aptitude and interest were higher than those of possibility of employability. Third, perceived significant average difference on the levels of career maturity, all subfactor of Intrinsic motivation such as aptitude and interest were higher than those of extrinsic reasons such as employability, scores on entrance examination, invitations of people nearby. Finally, perceived significant average difference on the levels of career maturity, decisiveness of employability were higher than those of scores on entrance examination among extrinsic reasons.
