New method for real-time measuring optical turbulent flow intensity by ultrasonic anemometer

2013
The invention discloses a new method for real-time measuring optical turbulent flow intensity by an ultrasonic anemometer, comprising: measuring sound virtual temperature by a high precision ultrasonic anemometer, correcting the sound virtual temperature to obtain temperature, under the Taylor assume, and converting temperature time sequence data measured at a space point into a temperature difference between two space points, to real-time measure the optical turbulent flow. The method overcomes disadvantages that a micro temperature probe is easy to be polluted because of elements like dust and strong wind in a using process of temperature fluctuation measurement, and has characteristics that the optical turbulent flow intensity can be unattendedly, long-time and continuously measured even under severe environments like sea atmosphere environment, high temperature environment, psychro-environment and windy weather.
