The development objectives of Energy Development and Access Project for Ghana is to improve the operational efficiency of the electricity distribution system and increase the population s access to electricity. This restructuring requires the following changes: (i) to extend the project closing date by eight months from January 31, 2019 to September 30, 2019 to enable the borrower to enhance the development effectiveness of the operation; (ii) to revise end target dates in the results framework; and (iii) to adjust the disbursement estimates.
