Magnetic Properties and ESR Studies on Copper Phthalocyanines

Copper phthalocyanine and its amino-, nitro-, carboxylic- and sulpho 2,9,16,23-tetrasubstituted and 1, 5,8,10,15,17,22,24-octanitro derivatives are synthesized and characterized by analytical, magnetic and ESR data. Effect of substituents on the magnetic property and the mechanism of intermolecular interaction are discussed.
