Современные аспекты лечения лямблиоза

We studied 81 patients from 18 to 50 years, who were treated at the Regional Hospital of Infectious Diseases with giardiasis. Diagnosis ofgiardiasis was based on a comprehensive clinical, scatological and duodenal analyzes. Additionally ultrasonographywas conducted toall patients. Intestinal and mixed forms was more prevalence. Mixed form of giardiasis was shown damage of hepatoduodenal area. Patients were divided into two groups randomly 52 patients with chronic giardiasis were in the first group. They took the drug Sausalin (study group). In the second group were 29 patients, they received antiparasitic agent Orgil – ornidazole (control group). The study determined the efficacy of Sausalin. Its effectiveness has been more pronounced than in the control drug. Obtained clinical data considered drug Sausalin as effective giardiasis treatment modality that can be recommended as an innovative therapy.
