Application of controled mesh deformation technology in hydrodynamic optimization design for a ducted propeller with pre-swirl stator

This paper applied controled mesh deformation technology to hydrodynamic profile optimization of a ducted propeller with pre-swirl stator.Open water efficiency of the optimization scheme is 2% higher than the initial scheme,and the flow separation near the blade tip is highly broken.The results of this paper indicates that mesh reconstruction method based on controled mesh deformation technology can settle the problem in the mesh automatic generation for multi-scheme design in the condition of mesh similarity and can be used in hydrodynamic optimization design for integrated propulsor.
