Investigation and analysis on point prevalence rate of nosocomial infection nearly three years

Objective:To investigate on point prevalence rate of nosocomial infection nearly three years in a hospital,and analyze the hospital infection factors,improve the way of prevention and control.Methods:The point prevalence rate of nosocomial infection in patients who were hospitalized in 2009,2010 and 2011 years with the same day were investigated by the combination of bed-side examination and medical records checking.Results:In three years,1705 patients were surveyed,the actual investigated rate was 98.10%,the average point prevalence rate of nosocomial infection was 2.05%,and the average point prevalence rate of case-times was 2.11%.The higher point prevalence rate of department was intensive critical care(ICU),nerve medicine,respiratory medicine,general surgery and urology,for the main infected sites was the lower respiratory tract,the there years of constitution ratio were 14.29%,46.15%,68.75%,was creased year by year.The usage rate of antimicrobial agents were 63.45%,54.12%,34.73%,was reduced year by year.Conclusion:Our hospital infection rates was more constantly,the current with the higher rate of departments need to main monitoring,and urged its improved prevention and control measures.It was important to strengthen prevention and control measures of the hospital in pneumonia(HAP),especially entilator-associated pneumonia(VAP) and multiple antibiotic resistant bacteria,and to strengthen manage breathing machine all kinds of facilities and equipment.
