The influence of the electromagnetic field of the high voltage power lines on the communities of chortobiont spiders was analized. It was discovered that spiders are sensitive to the electromagnetic field of the high voltage power lines. The raising of the tension of the electromagnetic field causes the reduction of the total number, species and taxonomic richness of spider communities.
